I’ve posted before about memorial beads, but more recently I have been exploring new forms of memorial pieces. These are glass memorial pebbles. Like memorial beads they enclose a small amount of cremation ash from a beloved pet or family member to offer comfort and keep their memory close .
The pebbles shown contain cremation ash from our wonderful dog Dennis who passed away in 2015.
Like pebbles from the beach they are highly tactile and roll gently around in your palm.
In this case the wooden base is made from a piece of ebony and I find it’s quite a nice way to display the pebbles on a desk or other surface.
And because they are made from glass the pebbles not only look lovely they will last for many many years.
